Dr Canakci studied at the Dept. of Agricultural Machinery, Faculty of Agriculture, Ege University. (İzmir / Turkey) , and he completed his MSc degree and PhD degrees at the Dept. of Agricultural Machinery in Akdeniz University in 1999 and 2005 respectively. His main study areas are Agricultural Machinery Management, Greenhouse Cultivation Mechanization and Shredding of Agricultural Waste. He has taken a part within the funded scientific research projects and he has more than 50 published papers in total in the peer-reviewed journals and congress/conference proceedings in both national and international classes. He is currently working at the Akdeniz University in Turkey as a member of academic staff (Assoc. Prof.) / Vice-Dean at the Fac. of Agriculture.
